Power Supply
| Auxiliary supply voltage |
Mains power supply |
- From an external 24V DC power supply unit
- Electrically isolated
- Internal fusing
- Fusing: (e.g. fusible cutout) to be provided by the user, see Fuses
|
- large nominal voltage range 1 x 110V-10% ... 3 x 480V+ 10%. With S748/772 and mains voltage below 300V set parameters NONBTB=3 and VBUSBAL=1.
- TN-network or TT-network with grounded neutral point, 42000 A max. symmetrical current rating, connection to other supply types only via isolating transformer
- Single-phase supply operation possible (e.g. for setup)
- Mains choke in case of asymmetry >3% of the mains voltage
- Fusing: (e.g. fusible cutout) to be provided by the user, see Fuses
- Building Power Supply Groups

DC Bus Link
- Brake circuit: with dynamic distribution of the regenerated power between several amplifiers on the same DC bus link circuit.
- Internal Brake Resistor as standard, external Brake Resistor if required.
- DC bus link voltage can be connected in parallel (see page DC Bus link in parallel).
- The sum of the rated currents for all of the servo amplifiers connected in parallel to an S701...S724 must not exceed 48 A (parallel to S748/772 not more than 96Arms).
- Only servo amplifiers with mains supply from the same mains (identical mains supply voltage) may be connected by the DC bus link.
- KCM Capacitor Module for S700 with 400/480V rated voltage and max. 24A rated current.
