AKD Motor without Temperature SensorThe AKD has got the ability to use a third party motor without temperature sensor.
In this case the motor needs to be setup in the motor view. After this has been done the following two steps needs to be done:
AKD and Software Enable at StartupThe AKD has got the ability if it will be used as a stand alone drive to support the function software enable at startup.
This function is often used if you are commanding the drive via digital IO´s or in analog mode, where you cannot enable the drive via fieldbus.

Manually Setup FB1.ENCRES for EnDat Feebdack DevicesIn general the resolution of an EnDat feedback device will be taken automatically from the device and calculated based on the motor settings.
In some case it could be needed that the resolution needs to be adopted.
In this case this can be done in the following way:

AKD Parameter FB1.ENCRES Setting for Linear EnDat 2.2When using a linear EnDat 2.2 encoder as primary feedback in general the resolution will be always automatically taken from the encoder and calculated based on the pole pitch of the linear motor.
The internal calculation for this setting is stored in FB1.ENCRES.

S700, S300, S600, and S400 F24 Fault CodeThe F24 fault is created by the WMASK feature which allows a defined Warning (nX warning) to generate a fault message (defined by WMASK)
PxMM: Sending and Receiving Variable values via UDPThe udpSendToVar and udpRcvFromVar functions (starting in soon to be released KAS version 2.11)can be use to read and write variables via UDP to and from a PxMM.
