AKD drive losing the software enable

The software enable will go low on an AKD EtherCAT/CANopen drive whenever the drive's hardware enable is turned off or a fault condition occurs.  This is because the software enable is handled by the state machine in EtherCAT/CANopen.  The master controller must bring the drive back up to the enabled state in the proper sequence using the fieldbus Control Word.

If you are not using EtherCAT or CANopen communication, you can get around this by setting FBUS.PARAM05 = 4 and saving it.  This will allow the drive to retain control of the software enable.  Make sure the drive is configured to be automatically software enabled on bootup (DRV.ENDEFAULT = 1).
