Problems connecting a CompactLogix PLC to an AKD drive?

When connecting an AKD to a CompactLogix PLC (or any PLC that communicates via EtherNet/IP), please make certain you are using an AKD version which supports EtherNet/IP Fieldbus communications. All of the AKD drives have an Ethernet port which is used to communicate with the AKD Workbench tool, however, there are specific models that support the EtherNet/IP Fieldbus:

Example:
An AKD-B00306-NBAN-0000 is a base AKD drive, 3 amps continuous current rating, 120/240 Vac single/three phase, without any extensions, analog command, and no other options.  This drive will have an Ethernet (TelNet) connection, but does not support EtherNet/IP fieldbus.
The AKD-P00306-NBEI-0000 is the same rated AKD drive, however, it includes the EtherNet/IP fieldbus connectivity option.
