Motion direction - Parameters

Valid for S300, S700

There are several parameters to change the motion direction.

Parameter DIR

The DIR variable defines the count direction for feedback information. The DIR variable is a 16bit variable, the single bits define the count direction for different feedback units.

DIR (dec, default) 21
  Bit 10 Bit 9 Bit 8 Bit 7 Bit 6 Bit 5 Bit 4 Bit 3 Bit 2 Bit 1 Bit 0
DIR (bin, default) 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 1
Feedback Analog Hall   Absolut
Information
  Commutation   Electr.Gearing   Second

  Primary
Feedback
Wert 0 Standard   Standard   Standard   Standard   ccw   ccw
Wert 1 ccw   ccw   ccw   ccw   cw   cw

Parameter HALLDIR

For the use of HALL Sensors there are 2 tables with hall segment numbers.

HALLDIR (default) 0 see ((Hall Sensors))
Feedback Digital Hall
Wert 0 Standard order of hall segments 1,5,4,6,2,3
Wert 1 ccw order of hall segments 1,3,2,6,4,5

Notice: If HALDIR has been changed from 0 to 1, bits 0 and 6 of Parameter DIR need to be changed.  DIR 21 must become DIR 84, DIR 20 must become DIR 85.

Parameter ENCOUT

ENCOUT defines the number of lines that are given out by the EEO (incremental encoder) interface for one turn of a rotary motor or one pole pitch for a linear motor. Negative values are used to invert the output direction.

ENCOUT (default) (+)1024
Function Encoder Emulation
sign + Standard
sign - ccw

Parameter VSCALE1

If the analog input 1 is used as the setpoint input for velocity control, then the VSCALE1 parameter is used to scale the input voltage.

VSCALE1 (default) (+)3000
Function Analog Set Point
Sign + Standard
Sign - ccw
