PMDC Motor Temperature Ratings

All Kollmorgen PMDC (Permanent Magnet DC) motors are good for continuous operation from -20 degrees C to 40 degrees C.  If the requirement is for temperatures below this, we can go to -40 C with a bearing grease change.   On the high end the motors can operate at temperatures higher than 40 degrees C if they are de-rated or at a reduced duty cycle.  In this case, the power rating and duty cycle must be approved by Kollmorgen.
