Test pulses are used e.g. by safety controls, function diagnostic devices and EMC simulators for proofing several properties.

Test pulses given to the STO-Enable input, which do not exceed the given length and off-time, will not have any influence to the safety relevant STO function of the servo amplifiers:

Pulses with T1 < 300µs and T2 > 200ms will not have any influence to the STO function.
