Does KAS IDE work on Windows 10?
KAS IDE appears to work on Windows 10 even though it has not been fully tested/approved as of 3/2016. One issue that was run into was that when trying to start/use the Simulator, port 80 was reported to already be in use. It turns out that the service that is listening on Port 80 is “World Wide Web Publishing (IIs)”. The way to STOP it is to Open Windows Administrative Tools, and click on SERVICES. Then scroll all the way down to “World Wide Web Publishing”. Right click on that line and select STOP. This will stop it from using Port 80. You can also select properties and place it in the MANUAL mode. If you ever need to use this service, you can START it the same way you stopped it.
Update: KAS version 3.0 (and higher) support Window 10.
