Platinum DDL Motor IP Ratings

The Platinum DDL motor series (IC, ICD, and IL) is sold as components, the stator (magnet way) and field (coil assembly).  There is no IP rating for the magnet ways, since water and dust will not cause any damage or performance issues.  The IP rating of the coil assembly depends on the environment at the end of the cable.  If the end of the cable is completely protected from any water, the IP rating is estimated to be IP54.  If the end of the cable is in a wet area, the IP rating is IP50. "   NOTE: This does not address our flying lead nor connector options.
