Derating
Servo amplifiers
A derating may be necessary due to high environment temperature or due to operation in high locations. Current values are affected.
No derating for servo amplifiers with standard clock frequency, up to 1000m a.m.s.l. and with max. 40°C ambient temperature.

Servo motors
A derating may be necessary due to high environment temperature or due to operation in high locations. Some motor types need derating due to built-in encoders and brakes. Standstill current and standstill torque values are affected.
No derating for motors with resolver, up to 1000m a.m.s.l., with max. 40°C ambient temperature and max. 65°C flange temperature.

Operation with extrem environment conditions like deep temperature depend on the used feedback system. The used bearing grease works down to -40°C, resolver motors down to -20°C, encoder motors should not be operated with environment temperature below 0°C. In case of deep temperature it must be considered, that water may condense in the motor housing.
