Course Content

Overview and setup of Kollmorgen's three Servo Drives.  This includes the AKD, AKD2G, and Essentials Servo Drive; wiring logic, power, and I/O; tuning, motion tasking, scope function and bode plots.

Kollmorgen provides a class room, lunch during, qualified instructor(s), use of the trainer units, and any required workbooks or handouts.

You will need to bring a laptop computer with AKD Servo Drive Workbench GUI Full Setup EN (English) Version loaded and installed.

Class Hours:  

Tuesday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM 

This is a full two and half day class.

A basic understanding of Motion Control will be very helpful in this class.  

You will need a Laptop with Workbench Software loaded and installed on your computer.
