He has extensive experience designing next-generation motion systems for the aerospace and defense industry as well as for robotics applications that improve everything from workplace safety to patient mobility. Tom enjoys helping engineers understand how to enhance their projects through frameless technology that delivers high performance in a compact form.

Jeff Coffed is the Global Market Manager for Aerospace and Defense at Kollmorgen and has many years of marketing experience in the high-tech sector for the Aerospace and Defense industry. He has held prominent positions in product development, strategy, research, product marketing, and events for industry leaders like Kollmorgen and L3Harris. At Kollmorgen he is responsible for business development and the execution of go-to-market strategies for Kollmorgen’s innovative motion control solutions within the Aerospace and Defense industry. While at L3Harris he directed marketing strategy and led a team that supported the five business sectors of the company’s Space and Airborne Systems segment.
