Knowledge Base Versus Community
One of the most important things to understand is the difference between the Knowledge Base and the Community content.
Knowledge Base: This is "official" Kollmorgen content. Posts made here are done by individuals authorized by Kollmorgen to provide customer-facing information. Moderators, and Content Contributors should post original content in here.
Community: The Community, which includes Questions, Discussions, and Feature Requests, is largely user-generated. Anybody who registers with KDN can post to these sections. Moderators and Content Contributors may respond to posts in these sections, or if they wish to start a discussion may do so.
