VG

sets the user gain for the extended velocity controller (COMPOMODE=3), the default value is 1024 and this corresponds to unity gain, the full range of 10 to 32767 allows to calibrate the extended controller gain without changing the polynomial of parameters VR and VH.
Changing VG also executes the REFRESH command which updates extended controller.
The CONVERT command will reset VG to its nominal (1024) value and move its gain into the VR and VH parameters.
