MENCRES

displays the resolution of the motor encoder (encoder feedback systems only) in number of lines per revolution of the motor (for sine encoder it displays the number of sine cycles per revolution of the motor).  Note that the number of encoder counts per revolution is obtained by multiplying MENCRES by 4 (for incremental encoder) or by multiplying MENCRES by (4*MSININT) (for sine encoder. See MSININT).  This variable requires a CONFIG command when changed (see CONFIG).
