Binary code is the common name for a code, that is used to encode a message by sequences of two different symbols (e.g. 0 and 1).

Binary codes are very important especially for digital information technology.

The dual code is mostly used for numbers. This code encodes integer numbers in the dual system. Negative numbers are usually encoded in two's complement.
