RMB-10V2-SynqNet®

RMB-10V2-SynqNet connects conventional analog drives into a SynqNet® system. Each remote motion block can support up to four axes of high precision analog drives, including digital encoder feedback, DAC outputs, transceivers, and associated I/O. The RMB10V2 enables use of non-SynqNet drives, and is also perfect for rapid prototyping of existing machine components because it allows for SynqNet integration of any drive or node.

Features

  • Connects conventional analog drives into a SynqNet® motion network system
  • Acts as the analog-to-digital conduit between the drive and the controller
  • Each RMB-10V2 can support up to four axes of high precision analog drives, including encoder feedback, DAC outputs, transceivers, and associated I/O
  • Dedicated I/O supports fast position capture over SynqNet
  • Supports sinusoidal commutation

Benefits

  • Supports applications for which a SynqNet® drive is not available or suitable
  • Ideal for rapid prototyping with existing machine components
  • Provides all the benefits of SynqNet, including:
    • 100 Mbps synchronous real-time connection between motion controllers and torque drives, stepper drives, and I/O modules
    • Plug-and-play interoperable node support
    • Fault tolerant operation
    • Dramatic reduction in system wiring
