4- and 8-Channel Analog Input, 0–20 mA

These 4- and 8-Channel Analog Input terminals process signals in the range between 0 and 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits, and this electrically isolated signal is transmitted to the higher-level automation device.

  • The 4-channel unit has 2-wire inputs with a common ground potential, using the internal ground as the reference ground for the inputs
  • The 8-channel version combines all eight channels in one housing, and is particularly useful for saving space in the control cabinet by means of single-conductor connection technology
  • Power contacts are looped through and the reference ground for all inputs is the 0 V power contact
  • Terminal status is relayed to the controller via the Standard-Bus
  • LEDs indicate the status of the data exchange with the bus coupler as well as alerting the user to overload conditions or wire breakage
