TCP/IP Connection Command Pattern

Hi,

Our partner has devices and they can control the devices by their HMI program using KAS interface as usual. We want to implement a mobile client application and control the device over TCP/IP connection. We have managed to connect to the device over TCP but could not succeeded sending commands or receiving sensor data. There must be a command pattern to communicate with the device but I was not able to find anything about that.

There is a HMI_Variable_Import_File and it contains fields like this:

// Name,DataType,Size,AccessRight,GlobalDataType,Address_1,AccessRight_1 //
AL_FAN_1_SERVO_ALARM,BIT,1, ReadWrite,BIT,000027
HMI_ALARM_RESET,BIT,1, ReadWrite,BIT,000020

I have tried sending the whole line, command name itself or address but none of them worked. How should I communicate with the device, request a data or send a command by using the data above? Is there a command pattern to use when sending and receiving data? And if there are a code example about this operation it would be very useful.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

You are using KAS , so you can use HTTP for communication.

There are some link in the KDN , I added below.

I think those will help you..
