I have an S600 drive with older 5.97 firmware in it. I would like to be able to upload this firmware from the drive so i can download it in to a second drive. Is this possible ? None of the tools I have tried will let me upload the firmware, only download and I can't find the firmware I need on the website.

Thanks, Corey

A typical need is to transfer parameter settings from one drive to its replacement/spare.This could be from a file that is already archived or there may be a need to upload the parameters from the original drive to file first and then connect to the new/spare drive to download the same setup.

It is important to note the hardware and software ( firmware ) revision, as some settings may not transfer if the hardware and software (firmware ) versions are not the same.

S600 Factory Default

It is suggested to have only the +24 volt logic powered up and not the AC mains going to the drive.

It is always a good idea to have a backup of your drive parameters. Use the Save Data To Disk button on the toolbar of the DRIVE software once online to save the current drive parameters to file.
