Good day to all,

I'm new to your community and looking for information about an obsolete controller. I am trying to get the SERVOSTAR MC controller to communicate in a Windows 7 32 bit environment. The BASICMOVES software runs fine in the XP environment but doesn't recognize the controller when I install it in the Windows 7. I've tryed as well the BASICMOVES version for Windows 7 64bit but it doesn't recognize the controller either. It will work if I set up a VirtualPC XP-mode in Windows 7, but I want to avoid that.

Do I new a 64bit Windows 7 to get this to work or does someone here have another solution, apart from upgrading all the controllers and drives. Your knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks.

Gaetan:

We discontinued the Servostar MC back in 2000~2004. Nothing has been done with the MC sense. I am guessing the BasicMoves software has not been updated sense the late 90s as well. We even sold off the Servotronix division who designed and built the units. http://www.servotronix.com/

If you can get it working, that may be as good as you get. Your welcome to contact Servotronix to see if they have done any work with the software.
