How do I configure DOUT2 on AKD-Basic  01206 drive to output a 24VDC signal when drive produces a fault.  The AKD is part of a control package that will be away from main control room and the customer would like and indication (light) to turn on/off indication drive fault status.  I tried to use configuration DOUT2.MODE=11 (Fault Status) but it only produces a high signal (1) and not a 24 VDC signal.

Per Workbench Help for DOUT2.MODE

Mode 11-Drive Faults: The output mode produces a high signal if the drive has a fault.

This mode is valid for all opmodes and command source combinations.

The AKD’s digital outputs to do not provide 24VDC internally all on their own.

It has to come from your system 24VDC power supply.

See the installation manual for wiring details ( and also see below).

Page 160: For Digital Outputs 1 and 2. They can be wired active high or active low as shown.

There is also a fault relay output.

I realized I didn't have +24vdc source wired to X7:6.  DOUT2 is now registering 24VDC when switch DOUT.STATEU parameter.  However, I could still use some help with regards to programming the DOUT2 to change state when drive produces any fault.
