S700 Motion Card (MC300) ???

I am working on a system built in Italy that has a Kollmorgen S700 drive and in Slot 1 there is a motion card referred to simply as MC300. Tech support has no record of this part number, does anyone know about this motion control card, it has a 25DB connector for discrete signals and a DB15 that is connected to a profibus network.

There were multiple third party cards made for the S300/600/ 700 over the years. I suggest taking the card out and seeing if there is any labeling that may help determine what it is. Trio Motion has a part number system MCxxx and they did make a plugin for the S300 years ago.

It’s a motion card that programs in basic, attached you can find the instruction manual (it’s for the MC600 but the MC300 has the same functionality)
There’re 2 version of this card:
- MC-300-001 without profibus
- MC-300-002 with profibus
