I have an S600 drive with older 5.97 firmware in it. I would like to be able to upload this firmware from the drive so i can download it in to a second drive. Is this possible ? None of the tools I have tried will let me upload the firmware, only download and I can't find the firmware I need on the website.

Thanks, Corey

You cannot upload the firmware from one S600 and download it to another. First you must determine if the second drive's hardware is compatible with the firmware you want to download to the drive.

There is a regulation in place, from the US Commerce Department, that prevents Kollmorgen from sending out FW systems that are capably of extremely high velocities. So we must control the distribution of our drives firmware to meet the guidelines.

Due to the 5.97 versions of your firmware you are requesting for your S600 drive, you will need to use this link to request the older firmware that does not meet US government compliance velocity restrictions.
