Questions about Kollmorgen AKM vs AKD-N Cable Part Number
Hello, Kollmorgen team.
I have question to determined cable part number for AKM vs AKD-N.
I have two part number. The one is CFENA2-002-01M00-00 and the other is CFENA1-002-01M00-00.
I found difference 1 and 2 in the website. That is a SpeedTEC or M23.
I have standard AKM33E-ANCNAB-00 motor.
Can this motor mate both type of cable?(speedTec and M23)

Good morning Yonghee-san:
The answer to your question is decided by the connector on your motor. If the motor has the SpeedTEC connector, then it will take both the SpeedTEC and the M23. If the motor has the M23, then only a M23 cable will work. We didn’t change the AKM part number to show the change of M23 to SpeedTEC. You will have to make a visual decision if your motor is SpeedTEC or M23.

As a distributor, I would think you would have Quote Assistant (QA).
Per QA, the AKD-N cables for an AKM3E-ANCNAB-00 motor are:
POWER = CM0NA2-015-xxM00-00 (where "xx" = length in METERS)
FEEDBACK = CFENA2-002-xxM00-00 (where "xx" = length in METERS)
Comments state in QA that this AKD-N feedback connector (CFENA2-002-xxM) is to connect an AKD-N to an AKM sine/inductive encoder cable, with the AKM having a Speedtec connector. In QA, you enter the AKM's part number, select the drive used (in this case, the AKD-N), and your required cable is displayed.
