No current feedback in "Rotary, Brush"

Hi everyone,

I'm using two AKD  P-00306. I give a current command (from dSpace-Controller) to a drive and waiting for a current feedback. But there is no current feedback. As a "motor type" is "8-Rotary, Brush" selected. What could be a reason? Why can't I see the current feedback?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Hello,

you need to switch to torque mode, if you would like to control the drive by current command.

Please refer to workbench online help and search for current loop for further details.
All IL.xxx parameters are related to the current.

You should take care about the limits of your application and set the values accordingly, especially the value for the overspeed limit.

Regards
