KVB - Getting started within the KAS IDE software
Video embedded below will show how you can create and launch a Kollmorgen Visualization Builder (KVB) project from within the KAS IDE software. When this is done, all the variables/tags that have a check in the KVB column of the KAS IDE Dictionary will automatically be given a modbus address and imported into KVB along with the IP address of the PDMM/PCMM controller. Also, the KVB project will be saved along with everything else in the KAS project to one file on your computer with the .KAS extension, so the HMI project and PLC/Motion control project will always stay together. It will also be backed up along with the rest of the KAS project on the PDMM/PCMM controller if you have the source code backup feature turned on.
