Kollmorgen servostar 310 motion tasks

Good afternoon!
I have a circular motor that must rotate an object in the range from a certain degree to a certain degree with a certain step and a pause between steps.

For example, from -90 degrees to +90 degrees in increments of 5 degrees and a pause between steps of 1 second.
What is the best way for me to assign motion tasks?

I was thinking of a way to set a separate motion task for each step with a pause between them, but I'm afraid that I will not have enough motion tasks if the range is larger and the step is smaller.

Maybe there is a way or command to set a task to motion from a start position to a end position with a certain step and pause.

Thank you!

The S300 motion tasks don't provide that much flexibility.  You would be limited to using a motion task for each step.  And number of steps is limited by the number of available motion tasks.  That is, if you need the tasks to be linked to each other to run a complete sequence.

If you have a PLC, you can use one motion task, and repeat that task the necessary number of times.  This would be a good application for the AKD-Basic drive, with the logic handled in the Basic program.  It can run a profile move with dwell a certain number of times and verify actual position.

The S300 can be used with a motion controller/PLC with a fieldbus, such as CANopen, EtherCAT, Profibus, or DeviceNet, to handle the necessary motion commands.
