AKD Voice Coil control

In the AKD , you have the option to use a brushed dc motor, can you use this same control method to control a voice coil on an akd to have it operate in the 2- 6hz range. 

Any examples or information of this being done or someone attempting to do this would be greatly appreciated. 

I would really like to avoid using the S300 and S700 drives as i have knowledge with AKD workbench software
