Can you export the contents of the FieldBus?
Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to export the contents of the Fieldbus to a csv file? I am new to Kollorgen and do not know all of the tricks yet.
Thank you for your time,
Richard.

The Modbus Tag list with offset addresses can be exported from the KAS IDE Fieldbus - Modbus window as shown in the attached document.
(note this is for the holding registers, repeat the process for the coil bits)

What is the model number of your drive and what fieldbus are you working with?
It is the AKD PDMM I cannot see the model number as other drives are in the way. It should be the fieldbus that is in the Kollmorgen software.
What is the fieldbus master? Are you using a HMI/Operator Inteface at all? Is it ours?
The Master is the PDMM. We are using and HMI and it is a red lion.
When you state fieldbus contents to a csv file are you talking about configuration data or are you wanting a method for data trending and collection?

It sounds like you want to
It sounds like you want to export the KAS global variables with Modbus addresses to a file that can be imported into the HMI. I don't think it is possible to export a file with the Modbus addresses, but you should specifically ask the KAS support team to make sure.
KAS supports Modbus communication for use with an HMI, but Modbus is not considered a fieldbus. The fieldbus is EtherCAT. Normally the HMI is not on the EtherCAT network. Please clarify if your system is different.
