Hello to everybody

I have a AKD N working for almost 2 years without any problems. Since yesterday I get the Fault467 and by checking the FB1.Fault I get error code 1112: Hiperface DSL Fault, Incremental position invalid.

Do I have to change the motor or cold it be a cable issue?

thanks for your help

Workbench Help the description for this fault is the following. Basically it is indicating a communications fault.
Check FB1.FAULTS for detailed fault information. If using a BiSS feedback device, fault 467 indicates a communications fault with the BiSS feedback device. No additional information is available via FB1.FAULTS for this fault when using a BiSS feedback device
This is typically cabling, shield/grounding, or the feedback device itself.
Here are some questions:
1. On average what is the time between faults ( is it intermittent but the fault can clear or constant and will not clear )?
2. Does the fault occur as soon as the drive is enabled, at a particular stage of your cycle ( i.e. at the end of the stroke, etc. )?
3. Does this motor move ( carried by another axis ) and the cable flexes in a cable carrier?
4. Are the cables non-flex rated or high flex rated?
5. What is your supplied voltage?
6. You can type FB1.FAULT when the F467 occurs in Workbench terminal. But this command gives minimal info. unless the feedback type is BISS.
7. You can type DRV.INFO in Workbench terminal as well to determine drive firmware version, etc.
8. What is the full model of the drive, motor, and cable?
9. Have you tried troubleshooting techniques such as putting in the spare motor or swapping motors and/or cables with another drive ( axis ) to see if the problem moved with the motor and/or cable? ( If possible. ). Or simply replace the cable?
