AKD2G Standard Voltage and Low Voltage Winding Thermal Sensor Options
- Standard Option 0 is a PT1000 linear device with an avalanche PTC in series. So you get some linear ohms vs temperature curve until the motor temperature approaches 155C, then the resistance avalanches to very large value.
- Option 1 is a PT1000 by itself, so just a linear ohms versus temperature
- Option 2 is the AKM Gen 1 avalanche PTC device – it is a nonlinear device, when the motor temperature approaches 155C, then the resistance avalanches to very large value.
- Option 3 is a KTY84-130 linear ohms versus temperature
