Hello BYUN,

Have you tried to set a static IP in your computer.  That should allow you to connect to the AKD drives

  1. Go to your computer Network Sharing Center
  2. Go to your Ethernet Connections

  1. Select Properties

  1. Set a Static IP Address:

Make sure the IP address’s first three Octave are the same as your drives IP Address and set the Subnet as shown

If your network is using a VPN or Firewall you need to get your IT Department to help you figure out the issue.

I am beginner for Kollmorgen Driver.

Popup is disappeared. I don't know why it is disappeared. When I try to do again, Poup is disappeared. But It does not communicate between PC and driver.

Strange thing is no show Model Number(AKD-P00607-NBCC-D000) and Firmware version.(refer to enclosed ppt file)

I think that model number and firmware version is shown.

WB discovery in recent version is done in 2 steps:
• Broadcast to get short answers from the drive (not containing model, fw version, …)
• Second step – we ask each individual drive for additional info

It seems that in that case, the broadcast is going through but not the second request.
It may be a network configuration or there maybe collisions with 2 adapters on the same network.

I noticed one difference between your Workbench and the "normal". The normal had the LAN IP address on the 192.168.0.x network but the Wireless card was on a DOT 10.x.x.x network but your Workbench shows both the LAN and the Wireless with IP addresses on the 192.168.0.x network.

Any easy way to check is to disable the broadcast on one adapter and see if it works.
Maybe try one and then the other – the Wifi may block more than the wired network.

You can't set the IP address of your PC AND the drive's IP Address the same. They must be unique; for example:
PC IP Address: 192/168.0.X and AKD Drive IP Address: 192.168.0.Y where X is not equal to Y.
Your screenshots show both the PC and the drive are set to 192.168.0.10. This won't work.

When or what sequence of events causes this error message to popup? What Windows Operating System are you using? Also if you click on the "Details" button can you capture the info. given there?
