AKD Scope over modbus | 27 Jan 2015 | |

AKD Scope over modbus

Is there a way to trigger the AKD scope or edit scope parameters over a Modbus TCP connection to an AKD? When connected to a PC running workbench, the AKD is able to send these parameters to the PC.

My customer wants to do this with a National Instruments PC in a Labview environemnt. Is it possible to trigger recording and retrieve a csv scope file over Modbus?

National Instruments would need to be contacted to detemrine what features are available within the LabView environs.

There are no Modbus registers for the scope trigger, or any other scope parameters or data.

I think you can use telnet work with Modbus at same time. I have an customer using Labview to do this function also.
