AKD Homing mode 12 : hard stop not detected

HI,

I need to use Homing mode 12 (Find Home switch, including end stop detection) but the drive does not detect the hard stop. When it goes to the hard stop, the foldback protection ends to disable the drive.

I tried Homing mode 8 (Find end stop) ans it works well with the same parameters, BUT the move direction is reversed (with the same parameters).

I think the problem is related to the Direction parameter : in mode 12, the move direction is reverse from what is expected. In mode 8, it is correct.
The expected error sign is probably not matching the (wrong) direction and then the hard stop is not detected even when the position error rise.

It seem to be a bug. I updated the firmware of my AKD-P00306-NBCC-E000 to M_01-20-00-003, and the problem is still the same.

Hi,

When using HOME.MODE = 12 the motor will move in the opposite direction, than what is selected for the  Home Direction, if the Home Switch is set to Active High an the state of the Home Input is high (on) when the Home Routine is started.  The motor is moving in the opposite direction trying to move off the Home Switch.    It also works the same way if  the Home Input is set to active low and the Home Input is in a low state (off) when you start the Home Routine.

I hope this information was helpful.
