Hi there.

I have one of the akd control systems, used for controlling PET blowing machine. the system has a fault which is 418 primary feedback power supply fault, I traced the pins of the power supply, according to the manual it should be 5 volts , but on mine it is 1.2 volts which is not enough to supply the encoder, I do not know what caused this fault.

help is highly appreciated.

Check your external 24 volts logic supply that's connected to the AKD drive, connect X1 to make sure it is at level of 24 volt dc. There could be an issue with the feedback cable you are using, the Endat encoder, or the AKD drive.

I would check your feedback cable first.  If you give me the motor model no. I can supple the cable feedback connections.

Thanks,

Kenny Hampton

The  Endat 2.1 output voltage should be 5 volts.

Thanks,

Hello

The feedback output supply should be around 5 to 8 volts depending on your feedback device.

Thanks,

Thanks Kenny, but what I need to know is that why there is lower voltage than it should be although the feedback type selected properly which is EnDat 2.1

Thanks again.
