Absolut encoder with akd-p00306

Hello, I am using 2 drivers akd-p00306. They are connected by x9. The signal from the absolute encoder (A/B, ECN-413) is connected to the leader. When reloading divers, the first one maintains an absolute position, and the second always resets to zero. At the same time, in the x9 settings on the leader, the emulation mode is set 2-Output -A/B with absolute index. What could be the problem?

Your configuration isn't clear to me but I assume the ECN-413 is connected as the PRIMARY feedback on X10?

What is the PRIMARY feedback on X10 of the follower? On power cycle the follower assuming it has an absolute feedback on its primary

will retain its current position based on its PRIMARY encoder.

It is important to note the EEO of the leader behaves as an incremental encoder ( not absolute ) from the follower's standpoint with the exception of the

absolute index pulse.
