Learn How Motion Control Advancements Can Help You Build a Differentiated Machine at Motor, Drive and Automation Systems 2012

RADFORD, VA – Kollmorgen senior product line manager Chris Radley will present on Extending Design Options Using a Complete Integrated Automation and Motion Controller with Servo Drive and Network Master in a Single Compact Package at Motor, Drive and Automation Systems 2012, March 13 - 14, 2012, in Orlando, Florida.

The two-day conference includes nearly 30 presentations and workshops on advancements in motor and drive systems, integrating new power electronics and improving energy efficiency. Kollmorgen’s presentation will illustrate for OEMs and system design engineers how a new single machine control solution provides soft PLC functionality, motion controller functionality as well as a one axis servo drive and an EtherCAT® master for controlling additional servo axes and other network devices.

"This powerful new solution creates single axis machine control in one package including a variety of onboard analog and digital I/O, and systems of up to eight or more servo axes are possible by adding additional servo drive on the EtherCAT network," explains Radley. "Development time is saved by not having to learn or interact with multiple software tools to build the system. The same software package is capable of supporting other controller offerings that provide for building systems as large as 128 axes."

Chris will be available for 1:1 meetings during the conference to discuss specific application needs. Contact Chris at [email protected] to set-up a meeting.
