Precision Tables
Precision Tables are best suited for positioning applications where the accuracy and repeatability requirements are more important than axial thrust of the drive train. They can be used in less precise applications where adequate moment load support is necessary and are ideal building blocks for complete multi-axis positioning systems. Kollmorgen offers two popular leading families in our DS Series and URS Series tables
DS4/6 Series
The DS Series of Precision Tables offer performance with outstanding industrial durability by means of the IDEAL-SEAL™ system, state-of-the-art web-enabled design tools, and tremendous configuration flexibility – suitable for most single and multi-axis applications. Proven magnetic stainless steel seal strip technology effectively seals the internal components from contaminants.

URS Series

The URS Series of Kollmorgen Precision Tables offers compact dimensions while out performing conventional positioning tables. This is made possible by a unique “U” shaped guide rail and a recirculating bearing module, which provides the dual functions of a guide block and a ball screw nut. The “U” shaped guide rail design offers a highly rigid structure resistant to bending, allowing the URS to be single-end supported.
