Rodless Actuators
R Series Rodless Actuator systems incorporate a moving carriage feature supported by linear bearings within an extruded aluminum chassis, giving the rodless actuator the ability to guide, support, and position a load. This design offers longer travels and higher speeds at a lower price. Screw driven models are thrust producing devices that are best for axial force applications where the space is limited and a payload must also be supported or carried. Timing belt models are ideal for higher speed, lower thrust applications, and can be repeatability driven. As individual components, these systems are not well suited for moment loading; however, they can be effectively combined into complete Cartesian Systems for some multi-axis applications.
When to choose a Rodless Actuator system:
- A low cost system is needed to both positioning and guiding a load
- It's necessary to eliminate external guides and ways
- Overall short work envelope is required (extended length equals retracted length)
- Multiple units will be combined into Cartesian systems
- Compact cross-sectional linear positioning system is required
R2A Series
The R2A Series of Rodless Actuators systems offer a new carriage bearing design producing lower bearing friction, smoother operation and zero running clearance. A flexible seal is used prevent environmental contamination and ensures long life, making it an affective industrial grade solution.

R3 Series
The R3 Series of Rodless Actuators systems are a robust design using an internal linear motion guide rail and our built-in flexible seal to ensure reliable operation in an industrial environment. Equipped for high load or high acceleration with maximum duty cycle, the R3 Series can fit a variety of application demands.
